Rome – Vatican Museum – Vatican – Classical Rome Walking Tour

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and then your morning will start with a journey to Rome’s celebrated sights.  Your guide will be waiting in the lobby to take you to enjoy your tour of the Vatican by private van. You will have skip the line tickets to see inside the Vatican and some of the amazing things inside such as the Raphael Rooms, the Galleries of the Candelabra, The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.

After the tour you will travel by private van back to your hotel for a well needed rest. In the late afternoon, your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on a walk of some of Rome’s most interesting sites. During your walking tour you will experience the spectacular Piazza Navona, the site of Bernini’s famous trio of fountains.  From here, you will continue to the Spanish Steps, a must-see sight in the city and a perfect example of Roman Baroque Style.  Afterward, it’s off to the Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, the Italian Parliament. Afterward your guide will take you back to relax. Free evening

Siena – Florence

At the start of your day, your tour guide will meet you at your hotel for a private transfer by coach to Florence. Sit back and enjoy the picturesque Tuscan scenery as you pass vineyards and lovely villages. Siena, a beautiful medieval city, is your first stop en route to Florence. This town is known for its distinctive buildings, the famous Palio horse race and spectacular Piazza del Campo. Once you arrive, you will dine on a food and wine lunch and enjoy some of the local wines and flavors of the area. After lunch, your guide will take you for a lovely walking tour of Siena to show you some of the most interesting sites of the town. Then we depart for Florence and depending on timing, weather and traffic there may be a quick stop in the castle of Monteriggioni on the way to Florence. Once you arrive to Florence and check in to your hotel, you will have the opportunity to explore on your own the city of Renaissance art and architecture as well as enjoy dinner on your own.

Today, no stone is left unturned as your tour guide takes you to the lesser known and quaint sides of the city during your walking tour of Florence: the fresh market of San Lorenzo is a culinary treat to your taste buds. Here, you will find food that arrives fresh daily from the countryside. It is a wonderful opportunity try an assortment of cheese, vegetables, and bread! After the morning tour, if you are still hungry; you will have free time for lunch and in the afternoon your guide will meet you at the hotel so you can tour the heart of Florence.

Florence is the cradle of Renaissance art, influenced heavily by many of the best artists of the time such as Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Your guide will take you to the Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio (the exterior), and the Dome with Giotto’s bell tower (the exterior). The tour will end with a visit to the Accademia, where you will see the famous statue of David at the Accademia Museum. After the fun day you are free for the afternoon and evening.

Florence – Venice

After a delicious Florentine breakfast, you will take a transfer to the train station for your next adventure in Venice.  Enjoy the unique sights by high-speed train.  The Floating City is an appropriate moniker as Venice doesn’t have roads or cars, only boats and canals.  You will navigate to your hotel in the Laguna and the rest of the day and evening is free.

Breakfast at your hotel and a leisurely free morning to sleep in and relax. Today’s adventure will start this in afternoon with a visit to the classic marvels during your walking tour of Venice: S. Marco Square, the Rialto Bridge, the Doge Palace, and the Grand Canal. Afterward, you will enjoy one of Venice’s most iconic experiences; the Gondola boat ride. Return to your hotel to relax and in the evening,
