Ubud is only a short drive from the south of Bali to Ubud. Balinese kings, benevolent to the arts, transformed their court seat of into a true global village. Ubud shops, galleries and craft shops blend traditional arts and crafts with modern design. Visiting European artists, attracted by the lure of an untouched tropical paradise, were encouraged to stay. They gave new impetus to existing, local arts, while creating some exciting new forms in the process. This atmosphere reverbs to this day.

Early wake up and join interactive morning yoga. Designed for beginners to increase and to rejuvenate body awareness, flexibility, strength, balance, concentration, as well as relaxation. Particular attention to alignment and mindful breathing will be emphasized during this practice.

Today you'll drive on a scenic road to East Bali for a village life experience. A secluded waterfall surrounded by lush green vegetation and enclosed by green ferns, mosses, vines is the gateway to the hidden Bali. Then we leave the car behind at the outer border of a quintessential Balinese dwelling for a short hike to its center. You'll be thrilled by magnificent views surrounding rice fields. Experience first hand how a typical Balinese family lives and observe the conventional rules to build a house compound. They are amazingly defined by a set of philosophical rules, steeped in Balinese Hinduism. 

In the afternoon, we proceed to a nearby holy spring water temple. We join the Balinese and witness the ongoing purification and blessing processes. Balinese Hindus believe in a power of nature. People firmly believe that the natural fountain will remove evil spirits from everyone seeking its blessing. Those who seek cleansing will also submerge themselves in the nearby river.

Wake up and join interactive morning yoga, utilizing conscious breathing techniques, we focus awareness on the present moment, calmly observing thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations, without forcing, judging, or hiding from anything. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities or self-exploration the beautiful surrounding.

Evening time, dinning out overlooks the lotus pond and amphitheater of Ubud’s Taman Saraswati Temple, while enjoying Balinese Dance Entertainment (not available on Friday). The entertainment displayed quite diverse, performances start around 7.30 pm, with the weekly line-up: Mondays present jogged dance with bamboo orchestral accompaniments, Tuesdays showcase legong with a ladies’ orchestra, Wednesdays the Ramayana ballet, Thursdays the barong dance, Saturdays host legong with a men’s orchestra, and a Balinese theatrical drama on Sundays (subject to change).

After breakfast, we will drive to the harbor of Padang Bai for check-in on a high speed boat. It will take you to nearby Lombok. During the first part of the trip, it is but impossible to miss out the mighty image of mount Gunung Agung for even a few moments. You will be dropped directly on Gili Trawangan, a little tropical paradise, with superb white sandy beaches, clear water, colored fish and beautiful coral reefs. Rest of the day you are free to explore these magnificent surroundings. Upon arrival at the island, a Cidomo "horse-carte" will be arranged, for your traditional way of transfer to your resort on the island. 

*No motorized vehicles on the island, you can hire a cidomo (horse cart) if you like to explore the island* *Speedboat transfer is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart or back problems or other physical impediments.

Whether you’re staying on Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, or Gili Air, there’ll be opportunities to check out some epic underwater snorkeling locations. The water clarity is hands down some of the best in the region and you’ll get to see plenty of turtles, coral, and marine life to check out. Gili Trawangan, you can islands snorkeling from the beach to spot turtles and huge schools of fish. Gili Meno has great snorkeling access and is home to the popular Gili Island Wreck (Meno Bounty) and probably the most photographed spot in Indonesia– the underwater statues. At the 3rd Gili is Air island located at North East corner, high light for its fish feeding.

At the end of the trip, enjoy your lunch at local restaurant prior return back to you hotel.

Morning at leisure until departure pick up time, you will be transferred by hotel on Cidomo ride back to Gili Trawangan harbor. Check in for your afternoon high-speed boat return to Bali. 

Upon your arrival at Serangan harbor in Bali, welcome back by our guide then privately transfer to Tabanan in West Bali. The resort located just steps from the unparalleled Pasut Beach a black sand paradise that’s worth every photo—you’re smack dab in the middle of a magical adventure.

Situated at about 1.200 meters above sea level, with mighty Mount Catur rising from its eastern shore, the climate in Lake Tamblingan is pleasantly cool all year round. Noteworthy is the Pura Ulun Danu, place of worship for the Goddess of the lake as the source of water for Bali. Combining typical Hindu and Buddhist temple architecture, it is one of the most photographed temples of Bali. After soaking up the spectacular view of the twin lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan, start your trek descending into the rain forest. On an open site in the forest sits almost unexpected the eerie Pura Dalem Tambingan which is dedicated the deceased ancestors. Continue downwards until you reach Pura Ulun Danu Tamblingan, dedicated to the Goddess of Lake Tamblingan. A short boat ride on a traditional wooden canoe brings you to the other lake shore. Very few people venture out into this direction. Forest slopes seal off this area from the rest of the world. On last leg of the trip, stroll along Pura Gubug, a masterly designed Hindu temple. This is a unique and quite rarely visited holy place!

After lunch, continue to a hidden waterfall rarely visited in Bali. Banyu Mana Amertha Waterfall is an amazing sight to behold, with hundreds of small waterfalls falling down over moss covered rocks, weaving through vegetation and cascading elegantly into a glorious pool at its base.

Then it is onwards to a market as we return back to hotel. Located in the small village of Candikuning, above the southern shores of Danau Bratan. Its daily market is small but extremely diverse and colorful. It offers a vast range of fruit, spices and plants, including orchids.

Free at leisure to enjoy the resort’s facilities until departure time.
